Volume licensed versions of Office 2019 now use Click-to-Run, instead of Windows Installer (MSI), as the technology used to install and update Office.
If you want to get new Office features on an on-going basis, you should consider moving to an Office 365 (or Microsoft 365) plan that includes Office. Office 2019 doesn't receive new features.
